Our Story
LifeFlight delivers critical care when and where it’s needed most. From farms and highways to remote communities, our teams respond to emergencies where time matters most.
More ways to support
Rapid response, exceptional care
Everyone needs saving sometimes. That’s why we work tirelessly to serve communities in their greatest moments of need. With a fleet of medically equipped helicopters and jets, we can provide rapid and advanced care where others can’t. But it’s not just our aircraft that sets us apart. It’s our people – a dedicated team of world-class medical professionals, engineers, aviation experts and administrators that make our lifesaving missions possible.
We believe that everyone deserves access to life-saving healthcare, no matter where they live. Our mission is powered by the support of our donors, supporters, advocates, and partners, whose dedication ensures we can provide the highest possible standard of care.
Volunteer
LifeFlight’s dedicated volunteers are at the heart of keeping our communities connected, especially since our organisation started as volunteers! They know our work goes beyond emergency care—it’s about building resilience, fostering connections and creating a sense of security for everyone in our region.

First Minutes Matter
Survival starts on the ground, in the first minutes after an incident. It’s about knowing what to do while we’re on our way. Our free emergency trauma training gives you practical skills to manage life-threatening events like car crashes, farming accidents, stroke and snake bites. Arming yourself with the vital knowledge is the best protection you can offer your loved ones and community. Host a workshop for your group or organisation, or attend a workshop.

The Auction

LifeFlight delivers critical care when and where it’s needed most.
From farms and highways to remote communities, our teams respond to emergencies where time matters most. The Beary Big Trail Auction will support LifeFlight’s vital work across the Darling Downs. At the end of the Trail, all sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for LifeFlight Foundation, to support First Minutes Matter trauma training programs and the Clive Berghofer Visitor Experience and Education Centre, at the LifeFlight Toowoomba base.
